We keep our stack narrow on purpose. Every app we ship runs on ground we know well — and we stay to support it.

These aren't buzzwords. Each is something we've built, shipped, and are maintaining right now.

Kiosk-first UX
Touch-first interfaces designed for shared hardware. Big targets, clear state, and carts that never get lost.
Inventory systems
Checkout, checkin, serialized assets, audit trails. The full loop — reliably — for years at a time.
Python & Flask
Pragmatic backends that run well on a Raspberry Pi or a small VPS. No frameworks-of-the-week.
Admin tooling
The control panel is a feature, not an afterthought. Force-returns, overrides, audits — all first-class.
Reliability first
Offline-tolerant, crash-recoverable, boringly dependable. The fun happens elsewhere.
Long support
We don't disappear after launch. Apps get patches, improvements, and a real human on the other end.
The stack

Narrow, on purpose.

We don't chase frameworks. Here's what we actually use — and why.

LANGUAGE
Python 3.
Readable, deployable everywhere, strong standard library. Great for small backends with real-world logic.
FRAMEWORK
Flask.
Small, explicit, stable. Doesn't hide the request/response cycle. Easy to debug, easy to hand off.
DATA
SQLite.
A single-file database that outlasts most cloud services. Backs up with a filesystem copy. Just works.
FRONT END
HTML + vanilla JS.
No build step for the kiosk. View-source is still a valid debugging tool. Browsers are backward compatible for a reason.
HARDWARE
Raspberry Pi or small VPS.
Deploy it where it makes sense. Local-first is great for kiosks; a VPS is great for shared admin access.
OPERATIONS
SSH & systemd.
No Kubernetes, no Docker Swarm, no platform-of-the-quarter. A service file and a restart policy you can read.
Equally important

What we won't take on.

Being honest about where we're not the right fit saves everyone time.

Enterprise rollouts.
We're small on purpose. If you need a 500-seat SSO integration with SOC 2 compliance paperwork, we're not it.
Marketing sites.
Plenty of agencies do this well. We focus on software with state — inventory, scheduling, operations.
Mobile apps.
If the job needs a native mobile app, we'll say so and recommend someone who ships them well.
