Privacy Policy
This policy is published at the HTTPS URL used in the Google Play Console (and similar listings) and applies to services operated by TrackRaven LLC ("we", "us"). It covers (1) the public website at trackraven.com and (2) TrackRaven Inventory, our inventory and asset-tracking product (mobile apps and web client). By using the site or the app, you agree to this policy. Contact: support@trackraven.com
TrackRaven website
Applies when you browse or interact with trackraven.com (including www).
Website: pages & contact form
When you visit our site, pages are delivered through Firebase Hosting and related Google Cloud infrastructure, which processes technical data needed to serve content and protect the service (for example IP address, browser type, and request metadata). If you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, optional subject line, and message you provide. We use that information to read and reply to you. Submissions are emailed to TrackRaven support and may also be stored in our Firebase backend (including Cloud Firestore) with the approximate IP address and browser identifier from the request, for abuse prevention and a support history. We do not use the contact form to add you to marketing lists unless you ask to hear from us as part of your message.
TrackRaven Inventory app
Applies when you use the TrackRaven Inventory application (Android, iOS where available, and web).
1. Camera (barcode scanning)
The app may request access to your device camera to scan barcodes and QR codes for inventory check-in, check-out, and product identification. Images are not stored for marketing; processing is used to decode barcodes during the scan flow.
2. Account & authentication
We use Firebase Authentication to sign you in (including email/password and organization-based access). We process account identifiers needed to operate your workspace.
3. Data you store in the app
Inventory data (items, assets, transactions, locations, users you manage, company settings, and similar) is stored in Firebase services (for example Cloud Firestore) under your organization. You control business data as the customer; we provide the service infrastructure.
4. Analytics, Cloud Functions, notifications
We may use Firebase-related services (such as Analytics, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Messaging) for app operation, security, and optional notifications (for example low-stock alerts). These services process technical and usage data as described in Google's Firebase terms.
5. AI features
If you enable the AI assistant, questions and relevant inventory context may be sent to Google's AI services (Gemini) through Firebase to generate responses. Do not submit secrets or regulated data you are not allowed to share.
6. Retention & security
We rely on industry-standard providers and reasonable safeguards. For TrackRaven Inventory, retention depends on your subscription, organization actions (including deletion in the app), and legal requirements. For website contact submissions, we keep records as needed to respond, run support, and meet legal obligations, then delete or minimize them when no longer necessary.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us at the email above.
8. Changes
We may update this policy for the website, the app, or both. The current version stays at this URL for store listings (such as Google Play) and public reference. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
